Ronald Wayne Gingras

Ronald Wayne Gingras, also known as Ron, passed away on August 1, 2026. Born on April 30, 1957, in Saskatoon, Ronald lived a life marked by independence, dedication, and warmth that impacted all who knew him.

Ron had a passion for fishing, it was a pastime that not only brought him joy but also reflected his appreciation for the tranquility of nature. Those close to him recall the many hours he spent by the water, savoring the peace and fulfillment that came from a day spent with rod and reel. Another unique aspect of his character was his fondness for rabbits; his affection for these gentle creatures became a well-loved facet of his personality. Above all, Ron distinguished himself by living his life freely and authentically. Those who spent time with him remember his independent spirit and the conviction with which he shaped his own path.

Ron is survived by his family, including James Philips-Gingras; Lana Lou Cockran; Valerie Gingras; Duane Gingras; Ken Gingras; as well as his friends Peter and Charmaine. He follows in passing his father, Lucien, and his mother, Inga, whose memories remain cherished alongside his own.

Ronald Wayne Gingras leaves behind a legacy of sincere passions, and an unmistakably free spirit. His presence will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
