It is with profound sadness that we announce that Adam Holbrook, beloved son, father, and friend, passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 43. Born on May 28, 1982, in Cranbrook, British Columbia, Adam lived a life marked by dedication and adventure.

Adam was known for his down-to-earth personality, quickly earning the respect and admiration of those around him. His career led him from British Columbia to the oilfields of Alberta and later to Texas, where he worked as an oil well driller. His commitment to his profession was an extension of his hardworking nature.

An avid hunter, Adam found joy in pursuing sheep, deer, and elk, often transforming the fruits of his labor into homemade jerky. His love for the great outdoors was matched only by his passion for spending quality time with family and friends, whether sharing stories around a campfire or engaging in a spirited game of cards, especially cribbage.

Adam was a devoted father to his son, Cole, and daughter, Brooklyn, who were undoubtedly his proudest accomplishments. He cherished every moment with them, guiding their growth and nurturing their interests.

He is survived by his father, Steven Holbrook, and stepmother, Barb Holbrook; his brother, Eric Holbrook (Jenn); his stepbrother, David Baskette (Marsha); and his stepsister, Kerry Belore (Jamie). Adam also leaves behind a large extended family and many friends who will deeply miss his presence and the warmth he brought into their lives.

Adam is preceded by his mother, Diana Holbrook. His legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
